How do I light a Quoco?
It is like making a small campfire. Start by building a small wigwam from wood/charcoal or briquettes and place a few firelighters in the middle. Light the firelighters and let it burn for 20 minutes, then you can add more fuel. The plate heats up and the oil runs to the middle of the plate. The Quoco is now ready for use!
How do I clean my Quoco Piatto?
Cleaning the Quoco Piatto can be done in a few minutes with a (Quoco) spatula, kitchen paper, water and a little oil.After using the product, you take the spatula and push everything into the fire that was left behind. Take a piece of wet kitchen paper and clean the plate again. The plate can be hot, so be careful! Put some more oil on the kitchen paper and rub it all over the plate. Your Quoco Piatto is now nice and clean.
How can I order a Quoco?
A Quoco can be purchased from our dealers. The dealer locator will help you find the nearest dealer. Quoco products purchased exclusively from authorised dealers or internet sources have a valid warranty.
I want to use the product for the first time. What should I do?
The first time, the plate should be burned with a food grade oil to make cooking easy and protect it from the elements. When the Quoco Piatto is not in use, a small drop of oil should be applied to the plate to protect it from the elements.

Is there a place where the product will be demonstrated?
Our products are demonstrated at numerous indoor and outdoor events. In addition, we have our own Experience Centre in ‘Dundee (insert address) to show and demonstrate our product line.
Is it possible to get an impression of how the Quoco fits in my garden or on my terrace?
We understand like no other that feeling and ambiance are very important. To give you a good impression, we post pictures on Instagram and we have our own Experience Center in Dundee.
Do I need to protect the ground around my Quoco Piatto?
There is no need to protect the ground. Of course, there is a chance that oil drops or food will fall on the ground. To protect your outside floor, it can be useful to place a plate (wood or steel) under the Quoco Piatto.
Is it necessary to use wood, charcoal or briquettes on my Quoco?
You can use it all, but it is not necessary. Of course, you can use it if you like. We do recommend, however, that you go for a briquette grill if you want to use briquettes, so that the airflow is optimised.
What material is Quoco made of?
The base is made of corten steel; the bowl and grill ring are made of carbon steel.
Why is there a slide under the bowl?
The slide at the bottom can be used to release the ash or to add air to the bowl. Please note that glowing particles can fall out when the drawer is open. When it is open, make sure there is no wood underneath. This is to prevent the stored wood from burning or smouldering.
What is the warranty period of a Quoco?
The Quoco Piatto and Tavolo products have a warranty period of 36 months. See our general terms and conditions for all details.
What is the temperature of the Quoco Piatto during use?
The temperature of the plate can reach 300 degrees Celsius or higher. Also the bowl and the upper part of the base become very hot. So be careful when using it!
What do I get when I order a Quoco Piatto?
When you order a Quoco Piatto, you get the base, the bowl and the plate (plancha).
Is my terrace getting dirty?
The base is made of Corten steel with adjustable legs. As a result, there is no direct contact between the Corten steel and your terrace. This ensures that it stays nice and clean!
Are Quoco products available in my country?
Quoco products are available in several countries. We can inform you about the nearest reseller or help you with your purchase if the product is not available in your country.
